In addition to the option of buying a bedwetting alarm , we are the only ones who offer the chance to rent as well. A good and conscious choice with many benefits.
The benefits of renting a bedwetting alarm:
- Renting is more economical than buying for a standard training.
- The bedwetting alarm is used multiple times and is therefore better for the environment.
- The rental can be cancelled on a daily basis, so no long contracts.
- Unsure if bedwetting alarm training is right for you? Try it for a great price!
- Only need the bedwetting alarm for a short time, for example in the event of a relapse? Renting is ideal!
- After use, a rented bedwetting alarm can be returned free of charge.

The first 2 weeks of free rental applies only to the complete packages (excluding reimbursement via health insurance) and not to the standalone bedwetting alarm.
How exactly does renting a bedwetting alarm work?
Are you looking for a really good bedwetting alarm for your child, and do you also value cost and sustainability? Then renting might just be the best solution!
You can only rent the bedwetting alarm at Urifoon, and we offer it as follows:
- You will receive the Liberty bedwetting alarm. Naturally in top condition and 100% cleaned.
- You rent the bedwetting alarm by the day.
- Finished with the training? You can return the bedwetting alarm for free.
- The rental ends immediately once we have received the bedwetting alarm back.
You can rent the Liberty bedwetting alarm for just €1.25 per day. We recommend renting a vibration element if your child sleeps very deeply or is afraid of loud noises. Including the vibration element, the price is €2 per day.
A €50 deposit is charged at the start of the rental period. You will, of course, receive this back once we have received the complete set back in good condition.
What if the bedwetting alarm training takes longer than expected?
Even though there is a well-over-90% chance that your child will be free from bedwetting within 10 weeks with our bedwetting alarm training, it is of course impossible to predict exactly how long the training will take. Given the cost, is it wise to rent, then?
The simple answer is: Yes! There is a ceiling on the rental costs if you make use of our unique rent-to-own scheme after 12 weeks. At that point, you exchange the bedwetting alarm for the initial deposit paid and keep the bedwetting alarm (in case you also wish to keep the vibration element, a charge of €20 will apply).
Fun fact: If you use this rent-to-own scheme, you will have paid less after 12 weeks than if you decide to buy the bedwetting alarm at the beginning of the training.
Many parents decide to keep the bedwetting alarm after renting it for 12 weeks for a younger sibling who also still wets the bed. They might still need the bedwetting alarm, and then they already have it at home in a very affordable way.

Renting is the perfect solution if your child has a relapse.
In the event of a relapse, a child starts wetting the bed again after having been dry for a long period. Unfortunately, this happens, and often a short bedwetting alarm training is the best solution.
But what if you no longer have the bedwetting alarm? Renting is truly the most economical solution then, because you rent the bedwetting alarm by the day. When you have finished the training, you return the bedwetting alarm free of charge, and we only charge for the days that the bedwetting alarm was in your possession.
Is renting actually hygienic?
Of course! All bedwetting alarms are cleaned, disinfected, and checked with the utmost care before being added back to our stock.
And because quite a lot of people make use of the aforementioned rent-to-own scheme, there is a good turnover of bedwetting alarms, and they all actually look like new.
What about the sensor pants?
We also can't bear the thought of wearing someone else's used underwear, so from a hygienic point of view, the sensor pants really must be purchased. Such sensor pants are necessary with the bedwetting alarm, and we recommend purchasing (at least) two.
Washing instructions are included with the sensor pants.
Does my health insurer also cover the rental of the bedwetting alarm?
Unfortunately, we cannot give a definitive answer to this. Click on this link and then on your health insurer's logo. You can then quickly see what your options are.
What is important to know about this?
First, you must have the correct supplementary insurance to be eligible for reimbursement. In addition, certain conditions may be applied by the health insurer. Examples include age, whether or not a referral letter is required, and the frequency of claiming for the bedwetting alarm.
Finally, it is possible that your health insurer reimburses the purchase of a bedwetting alarm, but not the rental. From a sustainability perspective, we ourselves do not understand why a health insurer makes this distinction, and we are therefore in continuous dialogue about this. Fortunately, however, the vast majority of health insurers do offer the choice, and it is up to you whether you want to rent or buy.
Conditions for renting a bedwetting alarm
- A minimum rental period of 4 weeks applies.
- We only rent out bedwetting alarms within the Netherlands.
- You pay four weeks in advance and receive an invoice for this. The rental agreement can be cancelled on a daily basis. Any overpaid rent will, of course, be properly settled afterwards.
- The rental ends the moment we have the bedwetting alarm back in our possession.
- Returning the rental alarm clock is free ( click here for instructions ).
- The deposit will be refunded within 3 working days after we have received the bedwetting alarm back. Naturally, we assume that the bedwetting alarm is returned in good condition and complete, and that all rental invoices have been paid. In the event of damage, incompleteness, or outstanding invoices, we may deduct these from the deposit.
- After 3 months of rental, we offer the option of hire purchase . In this case, the deposit is withheld in exchange for the purchase of the alarm. The bedwetting alarm then becomes your property once all rental invoices have been paid.
In summary: Renting the bedwetting alarm offers significant advantages.
- Renting is affordable. There is a well-over-90% chance that your child will be free from bedwetting within 10 weeks with our bedwetting alarm training. The sooner, the better, and the more economical renting is.
- Renting is good for the environment. The lifespan of the bedwetting alarm is much longer than the average duration of training. When there are no other children in the family who might potentially use the bedwetting alarm, renting the alarm is much better for the environment.
- Renting makes trying possible. Unsure if bedwetting alarm training is a good solution for your child? Give it a try and rent the bedwetting alarm by the day. If you are not satisfied – for whatever reason – simply return the bedwetting alarm for free.
- You rent by the day. Is the bedwetting alarm (likely) only needed for a short time? For example, in the event of a relapse in bedwetting. Then renting is naturally the most logical choice. After use, the bedwetting alarm can be returned free of charge.
- Finally, no worries about being tied to a long rental agreement. After 12 weeks, you can keep the bedwetting alarm in exchange for the deposit through our unique rent-to-own scheme .
